How does it work?

Every child is different and there is no “one right way” to teach a little one how to sleep. We take your parenting style and our background in infant and toddler sleep and come up with a plan that is developmentally appropriate for your child. It is gentle, clear and works within two weeks.

Our strategy teaches babies and toddlers how to sleep well for the long run. It is not just a quick fix for their current stage of life… it grows with them.

3 Simple Steps

Evaluation

We start with a simple evaluation of your child. This includes a detailed survey and brief consultation.

Consultation

Together we work through a detailed one-on-one consultation where I give you all the information you need to teach your little one how to sleep. This step is comprehensive, compassionate and customized to each and every child/family.

Support

Questions? What do I do now? Oh no, am I doing this right? Not to worry, I include phone and email support as your start your customized plan and during the first two weeks while you help your little one learn to sleep.

Result: A child who sleeps well & has a healthy relationship with sleep.

After working together, night time will no longer be stressful and sleep will be a positive experience for everyone in the family.

Our Philosophy

Want to hear from some families who have worked with us recently?

My wife and I cannot say enough about the wonderful service that Bridget at Better Bedtime provides. Our 11 month old could not sleep for more than an hour on her own and was not able to put herself back to sleep after waking. After only 2 nights, our little one is now sleeping in her own crib and is self-soothing herself back to bed. We have our lives back!!!!
Thank you Bridget!”

BEST parenting decision we’ve ever made. Our daughter went from bed sharing, waking and nursing every other hour and needing to be nursed, bounced and rocked for every sleep to sleeping through the night (12 hours) in her own room in a crib, waking up once to eat within a few days of working with Bridget. She is so supportive and reassures you every step of the way.”

– Cambridge Mom of 7-month-old
momandbabyMy only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner! I had so many reservations about ‘sleep training’ but it went incredibly smoothly for us and the stress around sleep has vanished in this house. My kid looks forward to sleep now and I’m a much happier and better parent as I’m also getting a full nights sleep. Can’t thank Bridget enough for her kindness, compassion and support through this process. If you are struggling with sleep – DO THIS! You will not regret it.”

– Mom of 8 Month Old

“The change was difficult at first, but not nearly as difficult as what we were doing before. The results are so much better than I ever imagined possible. Sleep is no longer a stressful topic in our household! I see the difference in our daughter, she is so much happier and barely cries anymore. I finally feel like myself again and we have our life back. We simply could not be happier :)”

BridgetJensenHeadShotHighResAre you tired of stressful bedtimes, short naps and never getting a full-nights sleep? Does your baby wake several times a night and only fall asleep if rocking, swinging, bouncing, eating, etc.? A child needs to be able to fall asleep for themselves before healthy sleep can become achievable and consistent. This does not mean that you need to leave them alone to cry all night. We get babies and toddlers to sleep well consistently by teaching them healthy sleep habits. The strategy we use will depend on your parenting style and where your child is at developmentally.
Becoming a parent does not mean you have to be sleep-deprived for years on end.
