Does this sound familiar?

  • Your baby or toddler isn’t sleeping well.
  • As the evening approaches, you know you’re in for a struggle to try and get them to sleep.
  • After they finally do fall asleep, when you lay your head down on your pillow at night, you wonder how long your eyes will get to be closed for.
  • There is a lot of uncertainty around sleep and how much you and your child will get.

Is it worse to have your child live in a state of perpetual over-tiredness or make the time and effort to teach your child to sleep well?

If tiredness and sleep (or lack thereof) are having an impact on your days, contact us.

How does it work?

Every child is different and there is no “one right way” to teach a little one how to sleep. We take your parenting style and our background in infant and toddler sleep and come up with a plan that is developmentally appropriate for your child.  It is gentle, clear and works within less than two weeks.

The wonderful thing about our strategy, is it teaches babies and toddlers how to sleep well for the long run. It is not just a quick fix for their current stage of life… it grows with them.

3 Simple Steps

We start with a simple evaluation of your child. This includes a detailed survey and brief consultation.

Together we work through a detailed one-on-one consultation where I give you all the information you need to teach your little one how to sleep. This step is comprehensive, compassionate and customized to each and every child/family.

Questions? What do I do now? Oh no, am I doing this right? Not to worry, I include phone and email support as your start your customized plan and during the first two weeks while you help your little one learn to sleep.

Result: A child who sleeps well & has a healthy relationship with sleep.

After working together, night time will no longer be stressful and sleep will be a positive experience for everyone in the family.

“My wife and I cannot say enough about the wonderful service that Bridget at Better Bedtime provides. Our 11 month old could not sleep for more than an hour on her own and was not able to put herself back to sleep after waking. After only 2 nights, our little one is now sleeping in her own crib and is self soothing herself back to bed.

We have our lives back!!!! Thank you Bridget!” – First-time dad

“I am so happy with the results gained from working with Better Bedtime! We had been struggling with sleep for our 5 month old daughter for a couple months… She was waking up 8-10 times a night, and we would often be up for hours trying everything to get her back to sleep. Nap time was not any better, she wouldn’t sleep in her crib or cradle so we would often resort to going for walks or car rides (I don’t want to even think about how much we spent in gas!). She was also such a light sleeper, we couldn’t even flush the toilet without waking her! We were so worried and stressed that she wasn’t getting the good quality sleep she needed to grow and develop properly. She was often very cranky from being so sleep deprived and we were just exhausted as well – we knew something had to change!

momandbabyContacting Better Bedtime turned out to be the best parenting decision we have ever made. Bridget was so friendly and knowledgeable. She worked with us to develop a personalized sleep plan that we were comfortable with, and we saw results immediately! After only two nights our daughter was sleeping through the night with very little crying. Something I previously thought impossible! It’s now been two weeks and she continues to sleep 10-12 hours a night and is getting good quality and lengthy naps in her crib. She falls to sleep on her own with no tears, and can sleep through almost anything!

The change was difficult at first, but not nearly as difficult as what we were doing before. The results are so much better than I ever imagined possible. No longer is sleep a stressful topic in our household! I see the difference in our daughter, she is so much happier and barely cries anymore. I finally feel like myself again and we have our life back. We simply could not be happier :) “– Mom to 5-month-old girl

BridgetJensenHeadShotHighResAre you tired of stressful bedtimes, short naps and never getting a full-nights sleep? Does your baby wake several times a night and only fall asleep if rocking, swinging, bouncing, eating, etc.? A child needs to be able to fall asleep for themselves before healthy sleep can become achievable and consistent. This does not mean that you need to leave them alone to cry all night. We get babies and toddlers to sleep well consistently by teaching them healthy sleep habits. The strategy we use will depend on your parenting style and where your child is at developmentally.

Becoming a parent does not mean you have to be sleep-deprived for years on end. Contact us or call 519-221-7338 for a complimentary 15-minute phone evaluation.
